The Tier 2 system administrator serves as an escalation point beyond Tier 1 and works closely with engineers and cybersecurity personnel to ensure operational reliability and compliance. This position is on-site in Norfolk St. Js Portsmouth, VA., This position is responsible for systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support. Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations. Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures. Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
