Desired Qualifications * Experience in higher education marketing. * Entrepreneurial, self-starter with tact and diplomacy skills. ## Description The Web Developer will plan, develop and manage web technology as it relates to Chapman's marketing presence online and through digital communication channels. Responsibilities include the coding and technical maintenance of internal and external facing digital marketing properties and require an understanding of agile methodology, analytic tracking integration, CMS development, marketing automation tools, web accessibility and modern coding best practices. This position works closely with the digital marketing team to ensure accuracy and consistency across university websites. This position is in person in Orange, CA and the candidate will be expected to be in the office 5 days a week. Salary Range: $80-95K Responsibilities * Work in conjunction with the SMC web team (UX designers and digital marketing specialists) in developing and maintaining various websites, applications and marketing automation tools. * Writing quality, robust code to ensure Chapman's websites have consistent uptime, reasonable load speeds and are compliant with accessibility and other web standards. * Develop tools and templates for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other marketing systems to ensure the proper usage of the system to meet Chapman marketing goals, brand guidelines and compliance needs. * Support the maintenance of all our web properties to ensure all bugs are resolved in a timely manner and system updates are monitors and addressed. * Ensuring Chapman's web presence is at or beyond industry standards on all devices both technically and in the user experience. * Write thorough documentation related to all software builds and stay vigilant to minimize and remove technical debt. * Work with the web team and campus partners to determine project scope and priorities within the scrum process.
