## About the Role

* AS or BS Degree in Information Technology/Information Systems or related field
 * Minimum 3 years' experience in related IT field
 * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
 * Strong problem-solving skills
 * Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
 * Strong proficiency in MS365
 * Up to 50% travel will be required to help support our North Carolina based Yarn Spinning facilities. (This travel is mostly day trips and involves limited overnight travel requirements.)
 * Periodically climbing ladders, operating lifts, and carrying/transferring up to 50 pounds of equipment

 * Ability to work in a team-based environment
 * Vision is required to perform required tasks associated with job
 * Hearing is required to hear instructions, safety warnings, and other communication
 * Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language effectively

## Description

* Provide IT support to users across the division, including reviewing and completing helpdesk tickets, or redirecting tickets that require a different level or type of support.
 * Maintain IT hardware and software systems to ensure Gildan standards are met.
 * Maintain hardware inventories and prepare new hardware for deployment as needed.
 * Support special projects or initiatives, as needed.
 * Provide support to other IT teams by troubleshooting or performing operations on site when needed for maintenance tasks or problem resolution.
 * Serve as a point of contact for IT related vendors at the facilities when necessary and provide support and supervision of vendors on site, as necessary.
