## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Software, or Computer Science degree
 * Embedded software development experience ~1.5-2+ years (Engr II), ~4-5 years (Advanced/Engr III)
 * Our team welcomes those with expertise in either low-level embedded software development OR expertise in high-level embedded, user application, and/or graphics/displays areas of focus, as well as engineers possessing experience across both domains
 * Competence in programming, with preference to languages such as C/C++, Python, Open GL, Vulkan etc.

WE VALUE

 * Understanding of software development lifecycles, methodologies and tools.
 * Experience with Avionics products is of a PLUS i.e. Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc
 * Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS)
 * Object oriented development experience
 * Knowledge of software change management practices
 * Knowledge of software certification requirements and documentation
 * Experience with DO-178C is of value
 * Passion for innovation and continuous learning
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

## Description

* You will work closely with a passionate team of engineers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking software solutions for our cutting-edge Avionics Flight Display Systems.
 * Support the design, development and implementation of robust, high-quality software solutions for cutting-edge Flight Display System platforms, services and/or applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and functionality
 * Craft and implement high-level code, ensuring our technology is both robust and user-friendly
 * Create test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements
 * Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from concept through implementation and verification
 * Enjoy increasing ownership of software modules, deliver innovative features, implement functionalities and contribute to the overall advancement of technology.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software with existing avionics systems.
