## About the Role

* Bachelor's in Information Technology, computer science, project management or related field. The equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
 * AWS certified Solutions Architect, professional
 * Qualifying DoD 8570.01m Certification (IAT-II) (e.g., Security +)
 * More than 3 years of experience providing IT support services, * Must live in National Capital Region
 * Ability to develop application code in the application stack
 * Experience with Accumulo, Hadoop, Zookeeper, and Postgres
 * Experience with JBoss, Angular, Java, Springboot and Linux
 * Experience with large data infrastructure systems and deployments
 * Ability to produce graphics and written documentation for the system
 * Ability to lead meetings and discussions with client teams, other programs and internally
 * Experience with intelligence community (desired)
 * Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills
 * Proactive approach to problem solving
 * Discipline to complete tasks while working remotely or telecommuting
 * DoD background (desired)

Security Requirements

 * Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

## Description

S2Technologies is actively seeking a Solutions Engineer/Architect to provide overall technical leadership and guidance for a program for the US Army. This role joins a high-performing team dedicated to modernizing and sustaining a cloud-native solution aligned with CMMI Level 3 processes. The Solutions Engineer will help evaluate, prioritize, and coordinate technical activities, with a strong focus on implementing new enhancements to support evolving Army operational needs., * Lead engineering, design and technical security activities and support the rest of the team

 * Support security posture of the application
 * Lead development efforts for the application
 * Managing CI/CD pipelines
 * Work with senior developer in planning releases
 * Lead infrastructure design and implementation
 * Oversee technical requirements and their execution
