This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role that combines IT infrastructure engineering and security operations. In this role, you will help maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the technology that enables Vir Bio's business and scientific mission, spanning endpoints, identity platforms, cloud services, servers, networking, virtualization, and security tools. The successful candidate is an execution-focused technology professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, takes ownership from problem identification through resolution, and balances security, reliability, and user experience. You are a collaborative partner who can navigate ambiguity, communicate clearly, document thoroughly, and identify opportunities to strengthen systems, automate processes, and improve operational excellence.
