It translates editorial needs into data-driven outputs and ensures smooth collaboration across workflows. * The position actively communicates requirements, shares insights, and incorporates feedback to improve content and product quality. Where needed, it also coordinates with external partners to ensure accurate and timely delivery of football data content. * Technical Acumen: Understanding and effective use of data tools and AI-powered workflows to create and optimise content. Staying up to date with developments in sports data, automation, and AI-driven content production to improve efficiency and output quality. * Soft Skills: o Ability to work well to tight deadlines in a highly pressurised environment. o Ability to offer creative and flexible solutions to help develop new ideas and shape innovative data-led products. o Willingness to fit the sports schedule, working 'shift based' role, featuring weekend and night work. It helps strengthen client relationships by ensuring our data and stories are relevant, reliable, and tailored to partner needs. o Through the creation of compelling and insightful content based on our own data, the role supports product differentiation, encourages adoption of new features and helps retain and strengthen existing relationships. Efficiency gains through data and AI tools also support scalable content delivery and improved service quality. * Decision-making Authority: The role holds responsibility for making editorial and data-driven decisions within clearly defined guidelines. This includes selecting, prioritizing, and presenting football data content based on relevance and partner's needs. * The position operates with a high degree of autonomy in day-to-day decisions, while ensuring full alignment with internal policies, quality standards, and strategic objectives. * Additionally, the role contributes to improving content quality, identifying optimization opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective delivery. The position also plays a key role in promoting new products through targeted, data-informed storytelling. * In addition, the role leverages AI tools to work more efficiently, streamline workflows, and continuously improve content output. * Stakeholder Partnering: The candidate will be expected to collaborate with internal partners and show proactivity in their approach with external clients. * Service Delivery: This role is live sports calendar based, so will include weekend and evening or night shifts. * Scope Disclaimer: * Use his/ her excellent knowledge of domestic and international men's and women's football to create content for a range of clients in the sports media industry, with the help of the Opta database. * Liaise with our international Data Insights teams to ensure a smooth workflow of content. * Onsite shifts (live support) at our partner's broadcast studios, where we provide the presenters and commentators with Insights and data. * Content creation as part of a team that produces social media content. * Innovate and display creativity with new ideas on how to use data and enhance its story-telling capabilities. * This is not an exhaustive list of duties; other responsibilities may be required within the scope of the role. * Financial Responsibility and Revenue Impact: The role does not carry direct financial responsibility but contributes to revenue growth through high-quality, data-driven content.
