## About the Role

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Controls experience is preferred.

Work Experience

At least three years of professional manufacturing experience involving measurement systems and/or data analysis. Hands-on experience with automation and controls is preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities

 + -Flexible, agile, and open-minded collaborator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 + -Effective problem-solving capabilities in a manufacturing environment.

 + -Strong organizational and project-management skills.
*

 + -Familiarity with at least one construction-product line, such as gypsum, insulation, siding, or roofing.
*

 + -Previous experience with sensors and controls implementation is preferred.

## Description

* Develop, plan, execute, and coordinate projects associated with Advanced Manufacturing Industry 4.0 initiatives.
 * Collaborate with plants and central teams to study manufacturing processes, identify problems and inefficiencies, and engineer innovative analytics solutions and safeguards.
 * Use data to support root-cause analysis, kaizens, critical-data monitoring infrastructure, dashboard design, and related manufacturing initiatives.
 * Actively participate in and champion advanced manufacturing Industry 4.0 projects.
 * Effectively manage time, tasks, project costs, and approved budgets.
 * Provide training for management and employees as appropriate for each project.
 * Perform other related duties and responsibilities as needed or requested by management.
 * Stay current on technology and applications in manufacturing analytics and proactively identify opportunities.
