## About the Role

* Technical experience in C or C++
 * Java developers are also welcome
 * Good knowledge in using / designing web interfaces (REST, JSON, …)
 * Basic Linux experience
 * Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Bash
 * Experience in using GitLab, container build environments
 * Effective problem-solving skills in a multi-component, highly available system
 * Skilled programmer and able to work with sensitive data
 * Self-organized but also a good team player
 * Bonus Skills: Experience with databases and SQL (PostgreSQL / Oracle / SQLite),
 * Bonus Skills: Experience in performance critical environments
 * Language skills: German and English

## Description

Our mission: "Every day we dedicate our time, talent and resources to creating secure, sustainable solutions that empower lotteries to maximize good cause funding.", * Implementation of our highly available transaction system that stores, evaluates, processes and accounts lottery game products

 * Design, implementation and testing of new features
 * Maintenance, customer support and assistance in test
 * Technical support of customer systems (currently >25 live customers around the world, and more to follow)
 * Responsibility for the implementation, testing, and documentation of software to ensure system stability, reliability, and maintainability.
 * Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other technical issues
 * Participation in all phases of the software development cycle
