An understanding of distributed-system fundamentals (e.g. networking, fault tolerance, and scalability). Experience working with cloud environments (AWS or similar). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration. The ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code. A willingness to take ownership of systems in production (including by offering support and assisting with continuous improvement). Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. We Would Be Especially Thrilled If You Have Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Experience with observability tools (e.g. metrics, logging, and tracing).
