Who are we looking for? Technical Expertise * Strong programming skills in at least one modern programming language. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), source control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments. * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including: + Azure Functions + Logic Apps + API Management + Azure AI Services * Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and automation technologies. * Strong understanding of APIs, authentication mechanisms, and modern integration patterns. * Experience designing and implementing solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles. Nice to Have * Experience working in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or manufacturing. * Experience deploying and governing private, cloud-based, or on-premises AI solutions. * Knowledge of AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), and enterprise AI integrations. * Dutch language skills. ## Description At HAL Allergy Group, we are accelerating our digital transformation journey and looking for an experienced Automation and Integration Engineer to help us unlock the power of automation, system integration, and Artificial Intelligence. In this role, you will design, build, deploy, and maintain innovative technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and create measurable business value across the organization. Working within a regulated GMP environment, your mission is to simplify processes, eliminate manual effort, improve data flows, and enable smarter ways of working through automation and AI. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will combine software development, system integration, automation technologies, and AI capabilities to solve real business challenges. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, Quality, and Engineering colleagues to turn ideas and requirements into secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
