## About the Role

The ideal candidates will possess a strong set of skills and experiences, including:

 * Significant commercial experience developing backend applications in Python.
 * Proven expertise within AWS cloud environments.
 * Strong understanding of database technologies, including PostgreSQL and SQL or NoSQL databases (preferably DynamoDB).
 * Experience in building and supporting production-grade backend services.
 * Comfort in a hands-on development environment.
 * Strong problem-solving abilities with a product-focused mindset.
 * Experience in Agile software development teams.

Desirable Skills:
While the essential skills are crucial, additional experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

 * Familiarity with DynamoDB.
 * Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging patterns.
 * Experience developing microservices and distributed systems.
 * Exposure to CRM platforms or customer service applications., * Product-minded, focused on delivering tangible business value.
 * Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
 * Strong communicators capable of collaborating effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.

## Description

Our client is seeking talented Backend Python Developers to join an innovative engineering team focused on building a brand-new service platform centred around CRM-related functionality. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a greenfield initiative, where the following responsibilities will be key:

 * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
 * Build scalable APIs and event-driven services that support customer-facing applications.
 * Develop and optimise data solutions within AWS cloud environments.
 * Collaborate with product, engineering, and frontend teams to deliver new platform capabilities.
 * Contribute to architecture decisions and establish best practises for a strategic service.
 * Support continuous improvement, automation, and engineering excellence across the team.
 * Engage in Agile ceremonies and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
