## About the Role

* Solid experience of at least 7 years in architecting and implementing large-scale enterprise infrastructure and data centre solutions, with hands-on expertise across mainframe environments (z/OS, COBOL, JCL, middleware), enterprise storage platforms (SAN, NAS, object storage), virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM), and data centre modernisation initiatives, including hybrid and cloud-integrated architectures.
 * Proven ability to drive highly automated and intelligent infrastructure operations using automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, Ansible, Terraform, and equivalent platforms, alongside AIOps solutions (e.g., Dynatrace, Moogsoft, Splunk, IBM Instana) to improve observability, predictive maintenance, cost optimisation, and energy efficiency.
 * Strong expertise in leading technical solution design and presales engagements, effectively communicating complex infrastructure and transformation strategies to senior technical and business stakeholders, and delivering clear, compelling architectures aligned with operational, sustainability, and business objectives.

Educational Background and Qualifications :

 * Еducational Qualifications: Degree-qualified in a technical, engineering, or computing discipline.
 * Professional Certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, VMware, IBM Mainframe, or equivalent) are desirable., Note: This role is UK-based and offers a remote working opportunity, with occasional UK domestic travel as required. The successful candidate should hold or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance to work with UK public sector organisations.
