## About the Role

* Strong 2D / 3D structural design-based skills
 * Qualified within a Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering discipline - Advantageous
 * Previous experience within structural design or a similar engineering environment
 * Proven ability to meet project deadlines
 * Strong communication and problem-solving skills
 * Strong working experience with CAD design software, including SolidWorks
 * Ability to produce and interpret technical drawings and specifications

## Description

* Managing a variety of structural design projects at any given time
 * Working on current project ranges and improving/modifying existing structural designs
 * Producing detailed structural designs, drawings and calculations
 * Working with departments across the business to report on the status of projects
 * Preparation of technical documentation and design specifications
 * Liaison with customers when required
 * Ensuring all structural designs are produced to the required standards and specifications
 * Designing using 2D & 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks
 * Reviewing designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance
 * Project management from initial concept through to completion
