Preferred Skills/Experience * Experience deploying solutions on IBM i using other programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or PHP. * Experience designing, developing, or consuming REST APIs. * Experience with Kafka or other message-based and event-driven systems. * Experience working with digital applications and technologies such as Python, Java, MongoDB, or related platforms. * Knowledge of Warehouse Management and Order-to-Cash processes. * Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, and monitoring automation. * Experience in distribution, logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or healthcare distribution environments. ## Description The WMS Software Engineer - IBM i / AS400 Specialist plays a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that support McKesson's Warehouse Management Systems across its Distribution Centers. This position focuses on the IBM i platform and requires hands-on expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, SQL, and modern Integrated Language Environment development practices. The role translates business and technical requirements into modular, scalable solutions; supports platform reliability and interoperability; and drives disciplined engineering through automation, testing, Agile delivery, and CI/CD practices. The engineer will collaborate with technical teams, business partners, and vendors to enhance warehouse operations and support Order-to-Cash processes.
