## Description

We are seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead System-Level and Infrastructure Testing locally in our San Jose lab. You will bridge physical/on-prem hardware dependencies with containerized Kubernetes topologies and cloud edge environments, serving as the hands-on technical owner for end-to-end platform stability, hardware/software integration, and deployment verification.

What You'll Do

 * Build and maintain end-to-end local test environments in San Jose, mirroring edge-to-cloud topologies, hardware interfaces, and localized system deployments
 * Architect local Kubernetes clusters (e.g., K3s, Kind, Minikube) and cloud emulator harnesses (AWS LocalStack, Azure Edge) to enable fully offline, system-level validation
 * Profile OS-level resource usage (CPU, memory leaks, I/O bottlenecks, network latency) and run hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or local service-level automated suites
 * Maintain the physical/virtual San Jose lab environment, building automated orchestration tools to reset, patch, and reconfigure test rigs deterministically
