## About the Role

* Previous experience in an IT support, service desk, helpdesk or technician position.
 * Good working knowledge of Windows devices and Microsoft 365.
 * Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printing and basic networking issues.
 * Strong communication skills and a patient, customer-focused approach.
 * The ability to prioritise effectively in a busy operational environment.
 * An HND in Computing or an equivalent relevant qualification.
 * A valid UK driving licence.

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

 * Microsoft Entra ID or Azure.
 * Endpoint security, backup products or ticketing systems.
 * ERP implementations, transitions or upgrades.
 * Construction, manufacturing, production or another operational environment.
 * Automation, reporting or digital workflow tools.

## Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on IT support professional who wants more than a conventional service desk position. You will provide 1st and 2nd Line support across office, operational and site-based environments while working closely with the IT Manager on infrastructure, security and digital-improvement projects.
The position is fully on-site in Lisburn and offers a 1:30pm finish every Friday.The role

As the first point of contact for day-to-day IT support, you will:

 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, printing, mobile-device and network-connectivity issues.
 * Support Windows PCs, laptops, printers and other business technology.
 * Administer user accounts, permissions, password resets and MFA.
 * Assist with onboarding and leaver processes.
 * Support Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Office applications.
 * Install software, manage access requests and assist with licensing and updates.
 * Log, prioritise and document incidents, escalating more complex issues when required.
 * Assist with backups, endpoint protection, patching and routine system checks.
 * Maintain IT documentation, asset records and user guidance.
 * Support technology rollouts, supplier coordination and continuous-improvement projects.
 * Help the business make better use of Microsoft tools and digital workflows.
