They use hardware schematics, product specifications, and device requirements to write firmware which satisfies the requirements using the available hardware. They respond to customer requests or events as they occur and can debug and diagnose problems based on the provided data using their knowledge of the system and how it is used. They develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment and good engineering practices., In this position, your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to: - Designing, developing, and debugging device firmware - Debugging product and test failures using software debuggers and/or output logs - Reviewing and providing strong feedback on product firmware architecture specifications - Giving input on hardware decisions as devices are designed - Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment, and good engineering practices
