 * Hands-on experience building and maintaining shared design systems or component libraries across multiple teams
 * Proficiency with Storybook or similar tools for component development, documentation, and testing
 * Background in agile methodologies and DevOps practices
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with distributed teams

 * Experience publishing design systems as AI-consumable context (e.g., Chromatic, MCP-based tooling)
 * Front-end work on AI-powered applications (chat interfaces, agentic UIs, streaming responses)
 * Background in enterprise software, telecommunications, or B2B tech

Role and Responsibilities
Front-End Architecture
Design, develop, and maintain a responsive, high-performance front-end for the modernized portal, including AI-assisted customer-facing surfaces. Establish architecture patterns, state management, build tooling, and testing strategy .
Design System & Component Library
Create and own a standardized, versioned component library aligned with the UX team's design system. Establish Storybook as the single source of truth and drive adoption across multiple product and engineering teams so components and design tokens are reused consistently .
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with product managers, designers, back-end engineers, and other teams contributing to the AI portal evolution. Define clean front-end contracts and component boundaries across contributors and time zones .
UI/UX, Accessibility & Performance
Implement best practices in UI/UX, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization. Own front-end performance metrics for shipped surfaces .
Modern Web Capabilities
Use modern front-end technologies (React, Next.js, TypeScript) to deliver fast, responsive, reliable experiences .
API & Microservices Integration
Integrate front-end applications with SDKs, public APIs, and back-end microservices. Partner with integration engineers on developer-facing surfaces .
AI-Augmented Engineering
Use AI-assisted engineering tools to generate, refactor, and validate code while applying judgment to design and architectural decisions .
Code Quality & Mentorship
