## About the Role

This role requires advanced expertise in software engineering, computer science, and information technology, along with the ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior engineers, and interface directly with government stakeholders. The ideal candidate will apply independent judgment, strong software engineering fundamentals, and innovative problem-solving skills to develop solutions tailored to unique government and mission requirements.\n, * Active TS/SCI clearance preferred. Candidates with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance will be considered.\n

 * 7+ years in software engineering, with strong background in backend or full-stack development.\n
 * Strong proficiency with Python, including the ability to independently develop, debug, and maintain Python applications, scripts, and development tooling.\n
 * Strong working knowledge of Git and distributed version-control concepts. \n
 * Practical experience building, running, debugging, and troubleshooting applications using containerized development tools.\n
 * Demonstrated experience leading software development efforts and providing technical guidance to engineering teams.\n
 * Strong technical writing and documentation skills.\n
 * College Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.\n, * Experience developing in WSL, Linux, or comparable Unix-based development environments.\n
 * Experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications.\n
 * Experience implementing and supporting event-driven architectures.\n
 * Strong understanding of secure software development practices and cybersecurity principles.\n
 * Practical experience working in Agile environments utilizing the Scrum framework.\n
 * Scrum-related developer certifications and demonstrated Agile development experience.\n
 * Kubernetes certifications such as:\n

 + Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)\n
 + Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)\n
\n

 * Experience developing and deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes and related technologies.\n
 * Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.\n
