Manages software development activities. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Ensures software standards are met., * Bachelors degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university * Project Engineering/Management experience for hardware-software integration projects. * Experience leading a team of 5+ engineers with competing priorities and differing expertise requirements. * Test software development, hardware-software Integration, test engineering experience. * Knowledge of software and systems engineering principles and requirement validation. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the proven ability to communicate to customers, management, and support organizations in a clear and concise manner. * Ability to build effective relationships and interact with multiple high profile/high level customers. * Project estimation for agile execution and delivery of products. * Must be a United States citizen. Desired Skills * Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve highly complex cost/scheduling problems and implement constructive changes. * Previous experience as a Technical Lead of a software or systems engineering development team. * Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, full software lifecycle (requirements through verification/validation), and DevSecOps. * Experience with electrical console/rack/cabinet design. * Experience with HW and/or SW Procurement and COTS integration. * Experience with industrial control systems and instrumentation technologies for test measurement. * Experience as a Certified Priciple Engineer (CPE) for software/hardware integrated products. * Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and subcontract teams. * Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, Open Plan, SharePoint * Active DoD security clearance (not required for start) ## Description As a Test Software/Hardware Integration Asc Manager, you will lead a team of cross disciplinary Software/Hardware Integration Engineers to design, develop, deliver, and maintain software and hardware products for automating spacecraft/missile component testing.
