## About the Role

* Senior-level architecture experience across infrastructure, cloud and application technologies .
 * Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure, hybrid cloud and enterprise environments.
 * Knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, networking, databases and security technologies.
 * Experience with integration and Middleware technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, MuleSoft, Boomi, JBoss or WebLogic .
 * Strong understanding of security, resilience, high availability and performance.
 * Experience working within regulated environments, architecture governance and design authorities.
 * Familiarity with Agile/DevOps, CI/CD and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
 * Experience with architectural modelling and documentation using tools such as ArchiMate, C4, draw.io, ADOIT or Mermaid .
 * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, from technical teams through to senior executives.
 * An interest in emerging AI/LLM technologies and their practical application within enterprise architecture.

## Description

* Define and deliver end-to-end technology and solution architectures.
 * Lead architecture governance and design authorities for major projects and programmes.
 * Develop architecture patterns, solution designs and technical infrastructure designs.
 * Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technology solutions.
 * Provide architectural assurance, risk management and technical leadership.
 * Influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical decisions effectively.
 * Support technology strategy, platform modernisation and Legacy system retirement.
 * Lead technology evaluations, RFI/RFP processes and supplier assurance.
 * Mentor and provide technical leadership to other architects.
