## About the Role

The engineer should be an independent and fast-paced developer with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of producing robust, high-quality code in the face of rapidly changing requirements., * Experience in software development with Python, Java, Groovy or C/C++ required

 * Experience troubleshooting complex systems required
 * Great communication and analytical skills required
 * Hands on experience with Linux required

Required Education and Training

 * Bachelors or higher in Software Engineering or related discipline with relevant experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

 * Experience with software build and release processes is a plus
 * Experience working with embedded and/or electromechanical systems is a plus
 * Experience with Git, Docker, Bazel, Jenkins, Elasticsearch, or Ansible is a plus
 * Experience developing C/C++ on a variety of embedded platforms is a plus
 * Experience with designing software products in an FDA or other regulated industry is a plus

## Description

The engineer should be comfortable writing code in Python, managing branches with Git, and supporting large, complex projects to support software development goals., * Drive new build and release initiatives, including improvements to continuous integration, developer productivity, and code quality.

 * Develop and maintain custom Git workflows for a large, highly dynamic repository.
 * Work closely with Software Managers, Developers and Test Engineers to maintain software release cadence, traceability, and quality.
 * Support software release activities, including documentation and impact analyses.
