Identity & Endpoint Management The successful candidate should have hands-on experience with modern identity and endpoint management technologies, including: * Okta * Single Sign-On (SSO) * Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) * User provisioning and deprovisioning * Application integrations * Microsoft 365 federation * Authentication and access troubleshooting * Microsoft Intune * Jamf Pro * Jamf Connect * Apple Business Manager * Windows and macOS device enrollment and management * Application deployment and configuration * Configuration profiles and security policies * Operating system and third-party application patching * Device compliance and endpoint security Experience with every platform listed above is not required. Candidates should, however, demonstrate strong experience with modern identity, access, and endpoint management technologies, along with the ability to quickly learn and administer new platforms. Networking The candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of networking fundamentals and be capable of independently troubleshooting common network issues. Advanced network engineering expertise is not required. The role requires practical knowledge of: * TCP/IP * DHCP * DNS * VLANs * Subnetting * Switching * Routing fundamentals * Trunk and access ports * Wi-Fi and wireless networking * NAT * Firewalls * Network segmentation * IP conflicts and connectivity issues Experience with the following technologies is preferred: * Cisco switching * Cisco Meraki * Palo Alto Networks * Wireless access points and controllers The successful candidate should be comfortable diagnosing and resolving routine network and connectivity problems and understand when an issue should be escalated to a network engineer, vendor, or Internet service provider (ISP). Cybersecurity The Systems & Network Administrator should have a strong general understanding of cybersecurity principles, security best practices, identity security, and the role of IT in maintaining a secure technology environment. Experience with, or exposure to, the following technologies is preferred: * CrowdStrike Falcon * Proofpoint * Darktrace * Okta * Microsoft security technologies * Palo Alto Networks * Endpoint security and compliance platforms * Email security solutions * Identity security, MFA, and SSO This role does not require a dedicated cybersecurity engineer. Experience with comparable enterprise security platforms and a strong understanding of security fundamentals will be considered relevant. Additional Technology Experience Experience with the following technologies and environments is preferred: * Microsoft Azure * SharePoint Online * OneDrive * Microsoft Teams * Google Workspace * Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations * Microsoft 365 tenant migrations and consolidations * Microsoft Purview * Azure Storage / SFTP * PowerShell * SaaS application administration * IT asset management systems * IT service management and ticketing platforms * Remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools, The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, solutions-oriented IT professional who combines strong Microsoft 365 and systems administration skills with practical knowledge of networking, identity, endpoint management, and cybersecurity. They should be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting complex technical issues, supporting multiple business environments, and partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve problems. The strongest candidates will demonstrate: * Strong Microsoft 365 and cloud administration expertise * Solid identity and access management experience * Hands-on Windows and macOS endpoint management * Practical networking and troubleshooting capabilities * Strong security awareness * Excellent problem-solving skills * A customer-service-oriented approach * Ability to manage multiple priorities across different environments * Strong documentation and communication skills * Curiosity and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms Overall, this role is best suited to a well-rounded Systems Administrator who is strong in Microsoft 365, cloud, identity, and endpoint management, with enough networking and security expertise to independently support a modern enterprise IT environment. ## Description We are seeking a mid-level Systems & Network Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft 365, cloud administration, identity management, endpoint management, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have solid, hands-on networking knowledge and be comfortable independently troubleshooting common network and connectivity issues. This is not an advanced network engineering role; rather, we are looking for a well-rounded systems administrator who can effectively manage and support modern cloud-based IT environments. The Systems & Network Administrator will provide IT infrastructure and technical support across CIG and its portfolio companies, with responsibility spanning Microsoft 365, identity and access management, endpoint administration, networking, cybersecurity, SaaS applications, and general IT operations., The candidate should be comfortable providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support and resolving issues that require deeper technical expertise than a traditional help desk function.
