## Description

Our client, a growing Federal Integrator in the Intelligence Community, is hiring a Software Tester to work in support of an Intelligence Community program. Qualified candidates will have direct experience in developing and executing test plans, procedures, and scenarios and a solid understanding of the concepts of web-based software applications., NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for an Automation Testing Engineer to support a Federal Program in Reston, VA. This is a direct-hire role with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator. Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph is required., Define, lead, and execute comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks for complex DoD systems.
Mentor junior test engineers and guide best practices in QA methodologies and tools.
Lead system validation efforts, including performance, load, and security testing.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, Cypress, Postman, and JMeter.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Ensure test coverage and traceability through meticulous requirement analysis and documentation.
Drive Shift-Left testing practices and champion early defect detection.
Collaborate with developers, system architects, and operations teams to ensure quality at every stage of development.
Participate in test readiness reviews, audits, and high-visibility demos for stakeholders and leadership.
Lead efforts for compliance with DoD security frameworks, including STIGs, RMF, and ATO processes.
Oversee test environment configuration and data management across secure networks.
