## About the Role

* U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
 * Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
 * Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university preferred.
 * Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related experience; Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
 * Solid understanding of systems engineering processes and principles with demonstrated experience applying them to product solution development.
 * Familiarity with DOORS, Cameo, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
 * Experience with software development and requirements verification.
 * Ability to develop and capture technical concepts in engineering work products, presentations, and technical discussions.
 * Must be able to support an in-person, closed-area work environment and travel up to 10% to support business needs., * Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program.
 * Battle Management or Fire Control experience.
 * MBSE or INCOSE certification.
 * Experience developing systems engineering artifacts, including specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, and related technical documentation.

## Description

* Support systems engineering activities for the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program and Ground Fire Control (GFC) product.
 * Apply systems engineering processes and principles to develop product solutions.
 * Support requirements development, analysis, management, and verification.
 * Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies using DOORS and Cameo.
 * Develop and maintain systems engineering work products, presentations, and technical documentation.
 * Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across varying experience levels.
 * Support software development and requirements verification activities.
