Essential Skills & Experience: * Experience managing or supporting security incidents involving multiple stakeholders * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills * Strong written and verbal communication abilities * Experience producing accurate reports and incident documentation * Advanced IT skills and confidence working with multiple monitoring systems * Ability to work effectively under pressure and during emergencies * Experience within a Security Operations Centre or control room environment * Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically * Experience supervising or supporting operational teams * Customer-focused approach with excellent stakeholder management skills * Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusive working practices * SIA Licence * First Aid at Work Certificate Desirable: * ILM Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Management * Door Supervisor SIA Licence * Experience using C-Cure 9000, Genetec, Quantum or other integrated security management systems ## Description We are looking for a SOC Alarm Response & Investigations Controller (AR&IC) to join our Security Operations Centre in Basingstoke. This is a key role supporting the delivery of security operations across a major client portfolio, acting as a central point of contact for alarm activations, security incidents, investigations, and emergency escalations, As an AR&IC, you will play a vital role in monitoring, coordinating and responding to security incidents across multiple sites. Working within a technologically advanced Security Operations Centre, you will oversee alarm monitoring, CCTV systems, emergency communications and incident management, ensuring issues are dealt with quickly, professionally, and effectively.
