* Strong commercial experience developing applications using Node.js.
 * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
 * Proven experience working with Azure Cosmos DB.
 * Experience building and supporting Azure Functions.
 * Strong knowledge of GitHub, version control, and collaborative development practices.
 * Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
 * Understanding of security, scalability, and performance considerations in cloud environments.
 * Experience working within Agile development teams.

Desirable Skills

 * Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Experience with monitoring and logging solutions within Azure.
 * Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer to join a growing technology team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based applications. The successful candidate will have strong experience with Node.js, Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and GitHub within modern DevOps and Agile delivery environments., * Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Node.js.

 * Build and deploy scalable cloud-native solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
 * Develop and manage Azure Functions to support event-driven and serverless architectures.
 * Design, optimise, and maintain data solutions using Azure Cosmos DB.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver robust solutions.
 * Implement best practices for code quality, testing, security, and performance optimisation.
 * Manage source control, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high levels of availability and reliability.
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
