## Description

Senior Software Engineer Remote with occasional company wide meet ups £60,000 £65,000 per annum VIQU are working with a client running one of the most established platforms in their sector, who are currently building: a next-generation, cloud-native platform built from the ground up. You'd be joining at the point where the architecture is still being shaped, working directly with senior technical leadership to make decisions about how the platform scales, while also being the person a more junior developer on the team looks to for guidance. Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer: Designing and building features across the full stack: React/TypeScript on the front end, Python/Node.js on the back, PostgreSQL for data, all running on AWS serverless/microservices. Help to shape technical design and architecture decisions for the new platform. Mentor a junior AI developer and help raise the engineering standard across the team.
