It plays a critical role in defining the implementation approach for the reforms identified through the RNP programme. Responsibilities include understanding the proposed market design, assessing the impacts on NESO personnel, systems, and processes, and engaging with the industry to ensure a comprehensive assessment of implementation. The reforms under consideration include changes to balancing and settlement arrangements, constraint management measures, and investment siting levers. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with market design, business analysis, programme management, and operational teams to map out the necessary changes and develop a cohesive delivery plan. This is an exciting opportunity to engage extensively across NESO and the industry to help deliver significant transformations within the GB electricity market. This role can be based from Wokingham, Warwick, Glasgow, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home. We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements., * Support the implementation of Reformed National Pricing (RNP) reforms for NESO, with a focus on balancing, settlement and dispatch/scheduling. * Evaluate the potential impacts of changes, including the delivery costs and timescales involved, as well as impacts on wider systems, processes and frameworks across NESO and the industry. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders, as well as customers across the industry to identify key areas of change in codes, systems and processes. * Develop high-level requirements and map activities, information flows, and data requirements associated with the implementation of the reforms. * Ensure that implementation is considered as part of any decisions made within the programme, educating colleagues on areas of risk and opportunity. * Collaborate with government bodies to ensure alignment on the implementation approach for the reforms. * Contribute to a culture of curiosity, belonging, and trust within the team and across NESO.
