## About the Role

* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
 * 2+ years of related work experience and a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
 * 2+ years of experience in PCB design, assembly, verification, debugging, troubleshooting, and repair
 * Working knowledge with circuit design, schematic capture, and analysis with Mentor Graphics or other PCB design software
 * Working knowledge with industry standard electronic interfaces, including DDR4/5, PCIe, I2C, SPI/QSPI, and JTAG
 * Working knowledge in VHDL/Verilog Hardware Description Languages
 * Proficient in simulation, modeling, and analysis of electronic hardware

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

 * 3+ years of experience in PCB design and PCB assembly, verification, debugging, troubleshooting, and repair
 * Fluent in VHDL/Verilog Hardware Description Languages
 * Experience designing board with PCIe, DDR, I2C, SPI, and Quad SPI protocols and interfaces
 * Experience with FPGA design and tools
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to team members, customers, and stakeholders

## Description

* Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications
 * Specify the stack-up dimensions and desired electrical characteristics of the circuit board
 * Component selection
 * Analyze design tradeoff
 * Participate in design reviews
 * Ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective
 * Documentation
 * Board bring-up and testing
 * Support sustaining engineering efforts on existing PCB and system-level products
 * Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders on defining and understanding requirements, and program execution and establishing schedules
