## About the Role

The Career Technical Education Center is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Cybersecurity & Networking Instructor to join our team. This position will prepare high-school students for careers, industry certifications, and postsecondary education in cybersecurity, information technology, computer networking, and related fields.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the IT industry, extensive networking experience, and the ability to translate real-world technology experience into engaging, hands-on learning opportunities for students., * Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information technology, computer networking, systems administration, or a related field.

 * CompTIA A+ certification required.
 * CompTIA Network+ certification required.
 * Demonstrated professional experience with computer networking and network infrastructure.
 * Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, troubleshooting, and IT support.
 * Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and technologies.
 * Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
 * Ability to work effectively with high-school students in a hands-on CTE laboratory environment.
 * Ability to establish and maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
 * Ability to meet applicable Ohio CTE licensure and employment requirements.
