## About the Role

Requirements: Required Degree: Primarily Civil or Industrial Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Hydraulics.
PMP Certification is desirable.
Required Experience (indicate years and areas): More than 10 years of experience in Technical Office, Project Management, or Engineering Management roles.
Proven experience in EPC contract execution.
Essential Specific Knowledge: Proficiency in general office software (Microsoft 365) Budget Control Software: PRESTO, EPC Cost Control methodologies and software.
Design Software: CAD Design, Civil 3 D, Navisworks, Revit, Autocad Plant 3 D. Planning Software: MICROSOFT PROJECT, PRIMAVERA Desirable Specific Knowledge: Experience in other types of projects related to Integral water cycle is desirable Additional languages besides English Knowledge of BIM Knowledge of EPC contract models: FIDIC Yellow, Red and Silver Book.
Languages: English C1 (CEFR), both spoken and written, is essential.
Desirable: French, Arabic.
Travel Availability/Frequency: On site.

## Description

Aqualia, a leading company in the water sector, is seeking a Project Technical Office Manager to ensure the proper technical, documentary, contractual, and economic management of complex projects, with a particular focus on EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts for desalination plants, guaranteeing compliance with scope, quality, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.This position will be based in Egypt.This includes an expatriate assignment package, including international mobility conditions.Key Responsibilities Lead the Technical Office throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective coordination between engineering, construction, commissioning, and project controls teams.Review and coordinate engineering deliverables, construction documentation, technical submittals, and RFIs.Manage technical interfaces between internal teams, clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.Support the development and control of project schedules, monitor critical path activities, and coordinate recovery plans when required.Review quantities, measurements, productivity indicators, and cost performance to support project financial objectives.Manage technical aspects of change orders, variations, claims, and contractual compliance.Ensure effective document control processes, including revision management, approvals, quality records, and as-built documentation.Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM activities and support the implementation of digital construction methodologies.Provide technical oversight for major water infrastructure facilities, including treatment plants, pumping stations, transmission systems, and desalination facilities.Requirements: Required Degree: Primarily Civil or Industrial Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Hydraulics.PMP Certification is desirable.Required Experience (indicate years and areas): More than 10 years of experience in Technical Office, Project Management, or Engineering Management roles.Proven experience in EPC contract execution.Essential Specific Knowledge: Proficiency in general office software (Microsoft 365) Budget Control Software: PRESTO, EPC Cost Control methodologies and software.Design Software: CAD Design, Civil 3 D, Navisworks, Revit, Autocad Plant 3 D.
