Proficiency with database design and database languages (SQL) to build applications. Experience with alerting and observability tools (DataDog, Splunk) to monitor production systems Skilled at operating in a cross-functional organization. Ability to condense complex concepts and projects into clear, actionable takeaways Excellent communication and presentation skills with a curious business attitude Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with cross-functional ownership Preferred Qualifications Education & Experience Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or related field. 10+ years of industry experience designing, building, maintaining, and extending web-scale production systems. ## Description In this role, you will design and build the next generation ML and experimentation platform for the Apple Ads ecosystem. You'll be responsible for transforming complex ML workflows into intuitive web applications. You will introduce AI-powered insights through seamless user interfaces, develop workflows from model training to A/B testing and evaluation, all while delivering on Apple's privacy commitments in large-scale distributed cloud computing environments. You'll join a team where we obsess over user experience and believe the best interfaces make complex technology feel simple. You'll conduct user research, iterate on designs based on real feedback, and measure success through user adoption and satisfaction.
