Operators are responsible for removing items that cause jams and will be required to perform physical baggage handling in the event of system failures. Other responsibilities include manual handling, coding bags, cleaning of system, replenishing tub supplies at induction points and monitoring bags to keep them flowing properly., * Primary function is to induct bags onto the Baggage System. * Ensure smooth running of systems by attending to jams IMMEDIATELY and making sure the system is not damaged after removing items that caused jam. * Monitor and clear any blockages that prevent the flow of baggage. * Manually scan bags that arrive at the manual encoding station.
