## About the Role

* Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 * At least one year of IT experience.
 * Valid driver's license, as driving is an essential function of the position.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
 * Excellent customer service and communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently while effectively managing technical issues and customer needs.

Preferred:

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 * Five or more years of IT experience.
 * Experience supporting Microsoft and VMware environments.
 * Experience with network infrastructure, remote-access solutions, disaster recovery, and Microsoft server technologies.

Work Environment & Travel This position involves both remote technical support and hands-on support at client locations. Regular travel may be required to meet client needs, making a valid driver's license an essential qualification for the position.

## Description

* Provide technical support for issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and virtual environments built on Microsoft and VMware technologies.
 * Support Microsoft-related technologies, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and other related systems.
 * Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, software, and related technology.
 * Implement and provide ongoing support for disaster recovery solutions.
 * Provide technical support at the network level, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and network security.
 * Implement and support remote-access solutions, including VPN and Terminal Services.
 * Conduct system reviews and provide recommendations for improvements or enhancements.
 * Maintain accurate system documentation and technical records.
 * Communicate with customers regarding technical issues, including providing updates on incident progress and notifying customers of impending changes or scheduled outages.
 * Travel to client locations as needed to provide hands-on technical support.
 * Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
