And experience with software deployment and integration. * Experience with Linux/Windows Operating Systems and Virtualization technologies. * Experience with Agile Development Methodologies, e.g., Scrum and SAFe. * Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance., * Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance with Special Program Access. * Current CompTIA Security + * Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab) * Experience running technical teams * Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration * Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using infrastructure as code (IaC) * Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience and expertise (Server, Storage, Network Hardware) * Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go). * Experience troubleshooting performance, reliability, and availability issues across Linux/Windows based platforms and infrastructure services * Experience with containerization using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, Helm, Rancher ## Description The Principal Platform Software Engineer would be involved with development, implementation of traditional compute, network, storage systems and related deployments, as well as support improving the program platform's over-arching design through new emerging technologies. This includes existing operating systems and server hardware designs, as well as supporting the design and development of new modernized system architectures through automation tools.
