## Description

Sittercity is hiring a full-time Software Engineer to help build and enhance our online marketplace connecting families with trusted caregivers. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and integrations that power safe, reliable childcare matching. You'll collaborate with product, design, and data teams to ship user-centered features, improve platform performance, and strengthen trust and safety tools. Ideal candidates bring solid software development experience, clean coding practices, and a passion for mission-driven work that supports families and caregivers nationwide., * Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services

 * Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrations
 * Collaborate with product, design, and data teams on features
 * Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and documentation
 * Improve performance, security, and reliability of the platform
 * Contribute to trust and safety tools for families and caregivers
 * Participate in agile ceremonies and iterative delivery
 * Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
