Successful candidates are natural self-starters who have prior engineering experience in the integrated automation project life cycle, including development, design, implementation, enhancement, and support. The Senior Controls Integration Engineer will be part of a full project life cycle and responsible for successful development and delivery of system designs to Operations and Maintenance customers. You will serve as a liaison between Fulfillment Center Operations and Maintenance, our Advanced Concept and Firm Engineering teams, and Amazon Fulfillment Technology and Operations Engineering partners. This role will require the ability to build relationships across a cross functional team capturing and synthesizing the voice of the customer. You will partner with internal and external teams to design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our fulfillment and distribution systems. You will own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization, to design approval, and finally through turnover to Operations and Maintenance customers. You will be our suppliers' primary point of technical contact for your projects. This role will also provide proper training and support to facility controls technicians on system troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to focus on the system performance improvement and optimization. You are able to take the lead on the development, implementation, and delivery of complex system designs in ambiguous and complex problem spaces. You integrate systems for safety, security, stability, and efficiency.
