Bachelor's Degree (linked to experience requirement below) And Understanding of information technology and/or healthcare is necessary. Preferred: Experience: Required: 8 years' experience in one or more of the following: Healthcare, IT, and/or Project Management with High School Diploma OR 6 years' experience in one or more of the following: Healthcare, IT, and/or Project Management with Associate's Degree OR 4 years' experience in one or more of the following: Healthcare, IT, and/or Project Management with Bachelor's Degree. Preferred: Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration Required: Valid driver's license Preferred: Certification in Project Management Program (PMP). ## Description Reporting to the IT Program Manager and frequently works work with Director level and below on various projects and initiatives. The complexity of projects expected for Project Manager include moderate to large-scale projects. The complexity and scale of the projects handled independently are typically involve up to campus-level or over 5 practices/departments with up to 7 various IT resources during project implementation. Works with limited autonomy under general supervision, requiring some instruction and guidance. Supports the PMO, IT, and eChart Departments and works with a variety of vendors. Is knowledgeable and proficient in project management processes, documentation, and project lifecycle. Also works with project team, end users, and vendors to gain an increased understanding of overall system integration and functionality. Responsible for creating and gathering information for project documentation, test plans, implementation plans, support documentation, and end user acceptance during various phases of the project. Responsible for tracking issues and leads the project team in performing analysis, trouble shooting, and then relays findings related to reported system issues. Coordinates communication, training, and downtime with the end users, stakeholders, and project team. Must be able to document and follow project change control procedures. Works closely with other IT staff, software vendors and operations to ensure that system integrity is maintained and that IT deliverables meet operational business needs. Researches, analyzes, and works with other team members to facilitate and implement business and system workflows in order to expedite process improvement and coordinate business practices. Identifies best practices and works with team to implement opportunities for standardization. Prepares activity and other reports as necessary. Provides some guidance and mentoring to other team members. Attains and maintains necessary certifications, as applicable, in a timely manner according to policy. This individual should have excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills along with highly effective written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Days and hours worked may be variable., 1.1 Reviews and stays informed regarding any relevant Statements of Work, Contracts, Business Cases, Agreements, etc. 1.2 Adheres to and promotes project sequencing and appropriate governance review of all project requests. 1.3 Develops project charters and other required artifacts (i.e., Project Profiles, Budgets, Work Effort Estimates, and Future Dataflow). 1.4 Identifies project stakeholders and creating stakeholder registers. 1.5 Performs any relevant or necessary analysis of processes, workflows, systems, etc. 1.6 Facilitates project kick-off meetings. 2. KAR: Project Planning % of Time: 20 The above is accomplished by the following (order does not indicate importance): 2.1 Interviews stakeholders to ascertain project requirements and scope. 2.2 Develops project management plans to include scope, scheduling, and sequencing activities. 2.3 Creates work breakdown structures (WBS). 2.4 Reviews application specifications and system designs enabling the respective stakeholders to make suggestions regarding each project phase. 2.5 Helps create various types of budgets (for each stage of the project lifecycle); collects components relevant to such. 2.6 Creates checklists and registers of various sorts and develops test plans with the appropriate resources. 2.7 Develops communication plans customized to each project and audience. 2.8 Assesses risk by performing qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, identifies risks, and plans risk responses. 2.9 Supports procurement management and processes. 3.
