## About the Role

* For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).\n
 * For roles in the USA, Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering and extensive years of experience working on wind turbine engineering projects, issues and/or technologies.\n
 * Wind Turbine Machine Head work experience or familiarity.\n, * Experience with component design ownership including design, validation, and fleet support.\n
 * Effective problem identification and solving ability.\n
 * Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment.\n
 * Strong oral and written communication skills in English.\n
 * Strong interpersonal skills, leading and influencing skills and positive energy.\n
 * Knowledge of wind turbine component design criteria and wind turbine systems integration.\n
 * Ability to break down complex issues, determine possible courses of action, and enable effective decision making.\n
 * Conceptual design and system-level trade-off experience.\n
 * Field issues, test and/or validation experience.\n
 * Knowledgeable about GE Wind Turbine design practices and 3rd party certification requirements.\n
 * Willing to travel (~20%) and climb wind turbines\n
 * Strong technical aptitude.\n

## Description

The Senior Subsystem Integration Engineer - Machine Head will lead technical development and implementation of Machine Head Sub-System Level integration. They are the first point of contact for technical definition, design integrity, validation, and subsystem quality.
