## About the Role

* Preferred: Two years applied experience related to essential functions.
 * Required: Hardware experience encompassing networking; Ethernet and LAN, PCs, plotters and printers (laser & thermal).
 * Software - Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Autocad.
 * Must have good problem solving skills. Must have good math skills.
 * Must have excellent computer skills.
 * Must work well with others. Must have good communication skills - both verbal and written.
 * Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and have a high tolerance for stressful situations.
 * Must have strong understanding of business systems.
 * Required: A.S. degree or technical degree with related experience
 * Preferred: B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MIS or equivalent

## Description

* Responds to customer (user) calls concerning personal computers, touch screens, printers, etc.
 * Sets up new personal computers.
 * Performs preventative maintenance on personal computers.
 * Distributes new personal computers to users, ensuring all appropriate software and logins are functional.
 * Contacts vendors for support and resolution of issues.
 * Maintains an acceptable attendance record and works overtime as required.
 * Participates in resolution of computer system problems (hardware or software) as the need arises.
 * Maintains a clean and safe work area.
 * Participates in department meetings.
 * Completes documentation of activities as required.
 * Submits cost reduction and innovation ideas.
 * Performs other tasks as assigned.
