Someone who thrives on solving real, production-level engineering problems, enjoys deep independent work, and is motivated by making a tangible impact on how AI understands and writes code. This role requires strong autonomy, technical maturity, and the ability to follow detailed written instructions with precision. You'll work independently on repository-level engineering tasks, make your own technical decisions, and help define what "good engineering" looks like for AI systems. If you're energized by ownership and excited by hard, hands-on engineering problems - this role is for you! What we expect from you: * 8+ years of professional Software Engineering experience as the primary target. * Senior / Staff / Principal level or equivalent hands-on experience. * Strong and recent hands-on software engineering experience. * Experience working with complex, production-level codebases. * Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar repositories and existing systems. * High level of autonomy and ownership - comfortable working without continuous PM/TL supervision or micromanagement. * Ability to independently make sound technical decisions and drive tasks to completion. * Excellent ability to follow detailed written requirements and instructions.
