* Database Technical Skills:
 * Oracle: 8+ years of core administration (Oracle 12c/19c), RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN.
 * PostgreSQL: Hands-on experience with configuration, replication, tuning, and connection pooling (PgBouncer).
 * MongoDB: Experience administering MongoDB Replica Sets, sharded clusters, and index management.
 * Platform & Scripting: Strong Linux/Unix administration skills with fluency in Shell scripting or Python for routine automation.
 * Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

## Description

We are seeking a versatile Multi-Platform Database Administrator (DBA) with prior Apple experience to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will manage, maintain, and optimize core relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) database systems supporting enterprise application workflows across our Sunnyvale, CA, and Austin, TX., * Database Administration: Install, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB environments.

 * Performance & Tuning: Monitor database performance, run diagnostic traces, optimize complex queries, and manage indexing strategies.
 * Availability & Backup: Implement and maintain robust backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies (Oracle RMAN, Data Guard, MongoDB Replica Sets, PgBAK/WAL).
 * Security & Compliance: Apply user access controls, routine security patches, schema updates, and version upgrades in alignment with strict corporate data governance standards.
 * On-Call & Support: Troubleshoot database outages, resolve high-priority incidents, and participate in an on-call escalation rotation.
