Preferred Qualifications * 1+ year of software testing, quality assurance, or product development experience. * Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and automated test scripts. * Experience working within regulated environments governed by quality system and design control requirements. * Experience using Agile software development methodologies and tools. * Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes for medical device or healthcare technology products. * Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to support product verification and validation activities. ## Description This role is based in Lafayette, Colorado and is an onsite position requiring regular presence at the assigned Medtronic work location As a Software Test Engineer I, you will support software verification and validation activities for digital health products and technologies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to software quality through manual testing, test automation, documentation, and execution of validation activities within a regulated product development environment. Primary Responsibilities * Collaborate with software engineers, feature owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing needs. * Develop and maintain verification and validation documentation in accordance with established software development and testing procedures. * Execute manual test protocols, document results, and collect objective evidence to support product quality and compliance requirements. * Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency. * Define and manage test scenarios, test scope, and testing activities for new and existing software features. * Utilize test environments and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools to support automated verification and validation workflows. * Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and functional discussions related to software quality. * Support design control activities and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies., For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. ยง 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
