## Description

* Diagnose and troubleshoot moderately complex network, device, and telecommunications. problems, install and replace telecom hardware, software and cabling.
 * Participate and contribute in technical discussions that involve network infrastructure enhancements.
 * Interface with customers to understand their needs and articulate those needs to others.
 * This position is also responsible for the installation, maintenance, ongoing technical support and administration of the organizations Telecommunication systems.
 * Analyze basic voice and data communications needs and document requirements .
 * Configure and verify access switches and basic network settings .
 * Install and maintain network hardware, software, cabling, and data jacks .
 * Select and terminate appropriate cabling and media for device interconnections .
 * Implement approved changes following change-management processes and communicate impacts and risks.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve local network outages and device issues within a department/floor/building .
 * Replace and repair faulty network equipment .
 * Support and troubleshoot client VPN connectivity .
 * Coordinate cabling installations with Facilities and external vendors .
