## Description

The PC Technician provides comprehensive IT support services to the United States Attorney's Office (USAO), Eastern District of North Carolina. This role supports day-to-day operations of IT systems, ensuring reliable performance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure while delivering high-quality customer support to end users., * Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices

 * Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems
 * Support network operations including routers, switches, and servers
 * Perform system maintenance, updates, and patch management
 * Diagnose and resolve recurring technical issues for end users
 * Assist with system administration and network monitoring activities
 * Provide user training and guidance on standard applications and systems
 * Support telecommunications systems, including teleconferencing tools
 * Maintain and manage file systems, directories, and access permissions
 * Assist in cybersecurity efforts, including monitoring compliance with security protocols
 * Support basic web/intranet updates using HTML/XML as needed
 * Track and manage IT equipment and property records
 * Coordinate installation, relocation, and inventory of IT assets
 * Generate reports and assist with data analysis and documentation
