The SOW HITL Development Engineers shall possess expertise in: HITL Development, Real-Time Simulation, HITL Architecture Development, Plant Model Development using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Simscape, OpalRT, Signal Conditioning, Simulator Integration, Validation and Automation, Fault Injection Testing, Test Reporting and Traceability
Tools and Platforms: OPAL-RT, Matlab/Simulink, Simscape, Simulink Real-Time, Automation Frameworks, Data Acquisition Systems
Engineering Skills: System Integration, Troubleshooting and Debugging, Configuration Management, Defect Tracking, Technical Documentation, Cross-functional Collaboration

## Description

The Hardware-In-Test-Loop (HITL) Development Engineers shall be responsible for all activities related to development, maintenance, execution, and automation of HITL environments used for validation of locomotive traction/propulsion, auxiliary systems, power electronics, and embedded control software. HITL Engineers shall work closely with Drives Control, Systems, Software, and Verification teams to develop comprehensive real-time simulation environments that support product development and verification.
