## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
 * 3+ years of experience as a software test engineer or in a related role
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including defect documentation and test reporting
 * Ability to safely access and work on agricultural equipment in both field and field environments
 * Demonstrated troubleshooting of electrical and software integration issues
 * Experience developing and executing test cases based on system and software requirements
 * Wilingness to work in both an office and outdoor environment as needed, * Familiarity with agricultural equipment operations and farming practices
 * Experience operating agricultural equipment in a field setting
 * Experience with farm management information systems (FMIS) like FieldOps and/or JD Ops Center
 * Experience with requirements traceability tools (e.g., Polarion, JIRA)
 * Knowledge of vehicle communication networks and protocols (e.g., CAN, J1939, ISO 11783)
 * Experience with tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe/Simulink

## Description

The Software Test Engineer II is responsible for creating and implementing test procedures to analyze and ensure quality of software programs., * Perform software validation testing of Offboard software on agricultural equipment in field and bench environments

 * Analyze and review system software requirements to develop test strategies and plans
 * Design, develop, and execute test cases and procedures aligned with feature functionality and performance expectations
 * Analyze test results and failures, perform root cause investigation, and distinguish between test issues and software defects
 * Create, maintain, and communicate test reports to stakeholders.
 * Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, test results, and identified defects
 * Collaborate with cross-functional Product Validation teams to ensure complete validation coverage
 * Support coordination of test activities with internal teams and external partners, as required
 * Identify and contribute to improvements in test processes, methodologies, and tools
