The Region 10 INFORM Transportation Management Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. As a result, the systems, applications, network infrastructure, databases, and Intelligent Transportation System elements that support TMC operations must remain secure, reliable, and fully operational. This position works closely with NYSDOT personnel to support the INFORM Advanced Traffic Management System/Advanced Traveler Information System architecture, including Foundation and OpenReach systems by CoVal Systems, Inc. The role includes system operation, system administration, hardware and software support, software configuration, ITS device integration, troubleshooting, documentation, training, and support for ongoing system enhancements. The ATIS Support Engineer reports directly to the NYSDOT Project Manager or Operations Manager.
